Short version
FarSerene currently sets one cookie: a session identifier. There are no third-party advertising or analytics trackers on the site today. If that changes, this page and the consent banner will change first.
The session cookie
When you visit FarSerene, we set a strictly necessary session cookie that identifies your browser session — whether you're anonymous or signed in. It's what lets us:
- keep your generated trip attached to you as you navigate the site,
- enforce the free-tier generation limits described in our Terms, and
- keep you signed in after you use a magic-link login.
This cookie is classed as "strictly necessary" under the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR guidance, so it doesn't require opt-in consent — it's essential to the service functioning. It contains a random identifier, not your personal data directly.
What we don't use (yet)
No third-party advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels, and no ad-tech auction scripts run on FarSerene today. If we add analytics or advertising in the future, we'll add a consent banner that lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies before they load, and this page will list each one, its purpose, and its lifetime.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the session cookie will prevent FarSerene from keeping you signed in or remembering a generated trip between page loads.
